You’re curious. We get that a lot.
A studio built on questions can hardly dodge yours. Here are the most often ones we hear,
answered honestly. Have more? Email us at hello@studiocuriouscircle.com
It started in a supermarket aisle. Why do people pick the brands they pick, and not the ones right beside them? Curiosity is how we work, asking more questions than feels comfortable, digging past the brief.
The circle is what happens after. The returning, the projects that don’t end at handover. And of course, we all circle back to brands we love. Don’t know why, we just do.
Also, we’ll admit, it’s fun to say.
We’re living in bombay, once born in Calcutta, but open to work worldwide.
The circle is small with intention. only a handful of people and no layers between the person thinking about your brand and they person you are talking to.
limited faces to look at on monday morning with real ownership and full of bubbling questions. You’ll work closely with real client early on, not just observe from the sidelines.
Both. We work with freelance writers, photographers, illustrators, filmmakers, animators, and stylists constantly, alongside our core team
Yes. Good people are worth knowing about before we need them. Send it over and we’ll keep you in mind.
We start with questions, a lot of them. Research and strategy come before any design work begins. From there we move through identity, packaging, or web, whatever the brand actually needs, in stages you sign off on along the way. No black boxes, no big reveal at the end. For more details see this
Founders who want a partner in the thinking, not just someone to execute a brief. We’ve built brands across skincare, food, hospitality, education, and interiors, so industry is never really the filter. It is always the Intention and purpose.
It depends on scope. A full brand build is a different animal from a packaging refresh. Tell us what you’re working with and we’ll tell you what’s realistic.
We’d rather right-size a project than oversell you on one.
Once we associate ourselves with the brand, there is no going back. Brand mentoring and consulting are a part of what we do and most clients come back for new categories, new products, or just a second opinion. Thee relationship doesn’t end at handover.
But if there is anything else, we recommend our friends/collaborators who would do a better job than we would.
That’s more common than you’d think. Plenty of projects start with “something feels off, but I can’t name it.” Naming it is usually the first thing we do together.
Small Circle is our format for early-stage brands, shorter, more focused projects with the same thinking, just concentrated.
It exists because some of the most interesting brands haven’t raised their big round yet.
Yes. Most of the process runs on calls and shared documents, which travel fine across time zones. Distance hasn’t been a real obstacle yet.
A full brand build usually runs a few months. Smaller scopes move faster. What we won’t do is compress the strategy phase to hit a launch date, rushed thinking tends to show up in the work later.
Occasionally, when the fit and timing are right. Tell us what you’re building, and we’ll be honest about whether it’s a fit.
